Mary has worked with preschool age children for the past 16 years. She started her career as a teacher's assistant and has taught 2 and 3 year olds and VPK classes. She received her FCCPC (Florida Childcare Professional Credential) in 2007 and obtained her Director's Credential in 2010. Also in 2010, Mary joined the Atonement family, where she serves on the Music & Worship Committee and sings with the Atonement Singers. Mary is married with a grown daughter, and her son is a freshman at Rollins College majoring in Music and Theatre.

Cara Wells, VPK Teacher

Cara has worked with children ages infants through 12th grade for over 15 years. She started her career as a substitute teacher and has taught 4 and 5 year olds. She received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2009 and obtained her Director's Credential in 2010. Cara is married, has a grown son who is attending Valencia College and enjoys being a stock car driver.

Abigail Malnar, VPK Teacher Assistant

Abigail Malnar was born and raised in Anna, Illinois with her parents and four siblings. She graduated from Anna-Jonesboro Community High School in 2004 and from Shawnee Community College in 2007 with an Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees. In 2007 she moved to Orlando to work in the college program at Disneyworld for a semester, but ended up falling in love with Florida and decided to stay. In 2010 she became a certified Pharmacy Technician. She is currently attending the University of Central Florida where she is pursuing a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education.

Abigail is a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of the USA and completed both her Silver and her Gold awards while in high school. She has been volunteering in Sunday School and at Vacation Bible School since high school. She was baptized and confirmed at Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna, Illinois and is now a member of Atonement Lutheran Church.

Shellie Fazio, 3-Year-Old Teacher

Shellie has worked with preschool age children for the past 2 years. She started out substitute teaching for elementary and preschool age children for the past 3 years and joined Atonement in 2010, as an assistant. She received her CCDC (Christian Chidhood Development) certification in 2011, and also has her Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Shellie is married and has two amazing boys.
